Sardar Masih

Sardar and his wife, Bushra, have been making bricks for 35 years.

35 years ago, Sardar borrowed money from a brickyard owner to pay for an operation for his wive Bushra. They’ve worked hard over the decades to buy their freedom, but continued medical problems and the rigged loan have made that impossible.

Most of their children, Salamat, Razia, Shaheen, and Adil, were born at the brickyard and have never known freedom.
